This category celebrates the accomplishments of small businesses that have demonstrated resilience, creativity, and success in their respective industries.

 

Entrepreneur of the Year

This category honour's individuals who have displayed exceptional entrepreneurial skills, vision, and leadership in successfully establishing and growing their businesses.

 

Business Leader of the Year

This category recognises business leaders who have made a significant impact on their organisations and the industry as a whole through, their leadership, strategic decision-making, and achievements.

 

Best Manufacturing Business of the Year

This category acknowledges businesses that have excelled in the manufacturing industry with innovative products, services, processes, or technologies that have impacted their industry or market.

 

Customer Service Excellence – Small Business (Up to 49 Employees)

This category recognises businesses that have consistently provided exceptional customer service and have gone above and beyond to meet customer expectations.

Customer Service Excellence – Large Business (50+ Employees)

This category recognises businesses that have consistently provided exceptional customer service and have gone above and beyond to meet customer expectations.

 

Innovation and Technology

This category highlights businesses that have embraced innovation and technology to develop groundbreaking products, services, or processes, driving positive change in their industry.

 

Marketing Campaign of the Year

This will honour a business that has executed an outstanding and successful marketing campaign, resulting in increased brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales.

 

Start-up of the Year

This category acknowledges the achievements of newly established businesses that have shown exceptional growth, innovation, and potential in a short period. (Set up after Jan 2023)

 

Independent Business of the Year

An Independent business that demonstrates determination, resilience, and true backbone of Britain’s high streets and our day to-day support from local communities. To qualify for this award, the business must not be part of a group, franchise or national chain.

 

Employer of the Year

This category will recognise businesses with a positive and inclusive workplace culture, fostering employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity.  Employers who have prioritised employee well-being, growth opportunities, and work-life balance

 

E-commerce Business of the Year

This category recognises businesses that have excelled in the online marketplace integration, demonstrating innovation, user experience, and successful e-commerce strategies.

 

Retailer of the Year  

This award will recognise a retail business that has demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction in the retail industry. This award celebrates the achievements of a retailer that has consistently provided outstanding products, services, and shopping experiences to its customers.

 

Hair, Beauty, and Well Being Business of the Year

This award is to recognise the best in the field of hair, beauty, and Well Being. A business that makes a real difference to our confidence, encouraging development and hard work throughout the year.

 

Tradesperson of the Year

Tradespersons are the backbone of the local community, offering services from gardening to window cleaning. We will recognise their contribution and commitment to the local community.

 

Hospitality Business of the Year

This category will acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements of a hospitality business that has demonstrated excellence in the industry. It will recognise a business that has excelled in various areas such as customer satisfaction, quality of service, culinary excellence, ambiance, and overall business success. They have gone above and beyond to create an exceptional guest experience and have become a destination of choice for customers.

 

Corporate Social Responsibility Award

This award will celebrate a business that has demonstrated a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, making a positive impact on society and the local environment.

The Charity of the year will be one that showcases innovation, best practices, and deliver sustainable benefit to communities and society in general.  We will look at the impact they have made, the resilience, passion, and determination.
